USB 1.1 is more than enough for an internet connection and should be more than enough for streaming video from usb or the network.
only USB 1.1 at full speed is 12 Mbit/s, USB 1.1 at low speed is 1.5 Mbit/s

Thx again for all the work.
This is a bit useless since you'll still need a drive chip. The custom IOS hack only enabled reading the whole DVD because reading before a certain offset is blocked in the original IOS. For the Wii DVD drive to be able to read home burned discs, the firmware of the DVD drive needs te be hacked as well. Now it's only able to read original (retail) DVDs.
