Default StarLite: StarCraft Homebrew

Yes, dreams can come true. With no official plans announced for a DS port of StarCraft or any of Blizzard's other PC games, two French homebrew developers have begun working on bringing the popular RTS to the handheld themselves, titling the game StarLite.

A limited demo (version 0.1) is available for you to test out in an emulator or flashcart of your choice, and, while it's clear there's still a lot of work ahead for the project, it's impressive how much the two-man crew has already accomplished in just three weeks of development. So far, players can select and direct units via touchscreen, build simple structures, and produce additional units. There are even a few enemy troops to attack.

The team plans to continue their work, eventually implementing the rest of the units/structures and a WiFi ad-hoc multiplayer mode for two players.

Thats a good game.
The graphic is like at the pc.
But it has many bugs,e.g. u can build buildings in buildings.
With the A button u can spawn more enemy´s.
OK, i cant write more to that game, because my friend gave me that informations

That could be one of the best homebrew projects ever if they stuck at it. I have been havening loads of fun with Anno which proves RTS can be done on the DS properly. I do hope this one turns out well.

They got a new Version
Quote:
Hello,
Voila version 0.02 of StarLite.
Unable to start the WiFi mode, we decided to move StarLite with regard to its playability. So this was the work of this weekend.
The program,
-- A debut management collisions between "unity and building" (only for the marines for the moment).
-- A new map without any party "space", thus greatly simplifying the problem of pathfinding
-- An improvement at the level of gunfire from marine earlier, the marines shot at the first enemy they saw, at the risk of not capitalize on a navy closest to him, when the latter was. Now, the Navy simply pulls on the nearest unit.
-- In addition, the marines go out of barracks derénavant de facon coerente
-- And finally, the most important part: the construction of buildings is now limited to the place where you can really build a building ... which avoids two batiements overlap. Moreover, it is prohibited to build a building too close to a rude.
-- And ... no, still nothing for the left-handed, but that will come

Voila, it's not much, but to so many post, it would indeed merit a new update Thanks again for your support.

How to play:
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you want to test the game on an emulator, I urge you to use $ NO GBA, as it is the only emulator to my knowledge, which generates sounds correctly.

Tip: in order to appear more marine Mangement press several times on "A".

Ähhm my Friend means, on the new map, you can see the minimap from the old map. But the spawning points are better now.
EDIT: The builders spawning points arent really better
