Default [Tutorial] noob freindly smg and ssbb TUT for removing drive check errors

This tutorial was created by Luke Mercuri

Programs needed:
Trucha Signer: http://www.ingenieria-inversa.cl/files/trucha021.rar
Ultra Edit: http://www.ultraedit.com/files/ue_english.zip
Web Browser: Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable
WinRar: http://rarlabs.com/rar/wrar371.exe
key.bin: google "wii key.bin file"

Step 1. Go into Google and search “wii key.bin file”

Step 2. once you've found it, (it's not that hard to find) open it in ultra edit

Step 3. press "Ctrl" + "H" to change to hex mode and copy those numbers

Step 4. Open “Trucha021.rar” in winrar and extract it to your desktop (or any directory you wish)

Step 5. Go into the directory you saved Trucha signer and look for “wiikeyset.reg” and open it up in Ultra edit

Step 6. If not already in hex mode then press “Ctrl “+ “H” to go into hex mode and look for

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wii\KeySet\2] "name"="Custom KeySet 1"

"boot1 key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 ,00,00
"common key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 ,00,00
"sd key"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 ,00,00
"sd iv"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00, 00,00
"md5 blanker"=hex:00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,0 0,00,00,00

Step 7. Where it says “common key” replace the zeros the numbers you copied from the key.bin file (make sure you do not delete the commas as it will not work if you do), save the file and exit.

Step 8. Double click on the wiikeyset.reg file and click yes

Step 9. Open Trucha Signer and click “Select Keyset” -> “Custom Keyset 1”

Step 10. Select “Image” -> “Open ISO” from the toolbar and select your super smash brothers or super mario galaxy ISO file. (it should come up with an “Image successfully opened” message.

Step 11. In the second partition go to “sysfiles” and right click “Main.dol” and choose extract

Step 12. Open the extracted “main.dol” in Ultra Edit (http://www.ultraedit.com/files/ue_english.zip)

Step 13. Make sure you are in Hex mode (“Ctrl” + “H”) and click the circled button

STEP 14. If you have the American version of SSBB then type
"0X1F2293" or if you have the Japanese version of SSBB type "0x1F230B"
For SMG type "0x4C0CCB"

Step 15. It should then highlight two characters (0C), change the "C" to a "4", save and exit.

Step 16. In Trucha Signer right click on “Main.dol” again and choose “Replace” then navigate to the edited Main.dol file.

Step 17. Right Click Both partitions and choose “Trucha Sign it”
Congratulations your copy of SMG or SSBB is now error #001 Free

if you found this tutorial helpful or think that it could use some improvement then please leave some feedback to help make it as easy to use as possible.
