Wasabi Zero is fully compatible with original Wasabi. However, the new Wasabi Zero has been vastly improved in the following ways:
Easy installation - It has never been easier to install a Wii modchip. Connect the solderless adapter to the chip using the connector, plug it on the drive chip, and start playing. Alternatively, solder version is also available for those who wish to do a regular installation (5 or 6 wires depending on drive version, no pin soldering required).
Quality - Wasabi V2 and V3 have been known to most installers as the most solid chips on the market. Wasabi Zero will be no exception and features a thicker PCB, ultra-clean routing and a solid wide pitch connector for the solderless adapter.
Flexibility - As Wasabi Zero is fully compatible with the original Wasabi, they share the same firmware and you'll get all the usual benefits including proven Drivecode, DVD Updates and Configuration Disc. But that's not all. Wasabi Zero can be fully reprogrammed using JTAG.
Price - The only complaint we've got from users regarding original Wasabi has been its price. We reworked our price structure, you'll be able to get the ultimate chip for a very reasonable price.
By releasing the original Wasabi without JTAG, we made it clear that users should not require external programmers,
Will this finally be the last release of the Twilight Hack? Will Nintendo finally manage to beat it into the ground? Third time’s the charm, maybe? We don’t know.
Notes: This is for 3.4 ONLY. 3.3 and earlier users should continue with the v0.1-beta1 Twilight Hack. The hacked savefile will be deleted on every boot, so you should copy it, run Zelda, and immediately install HBC, as the hack will be gone once you go back to the System Menu (and then you’ll have to copy it agan to use it again). JAP and PAL are untested but ought to work.
Also, this in no way implies that updating is a good idea. It’s not. Don’t do it.

Cygnos, a team of dedicated console "technicans" is proud to anounce the upcoming release of our first product called "Cygnos360". Cygnos360 is a modchip for the easy installation directly onto the underside of the xbox360 mainboard.
Cygnos360 is a dual kernel modchip which adds a secondary NAND flash to the xbox 360 mainboard. It allows switching between the onboard NAND flash and the Cygnos360 NAND flash. By doing so, users can have an exploitable kernel version such as "4532" or "4548" at the same time as the current kernel version required to play the latest games. Cygnos360 can also be used for switching between kernels patched with different region codes so that users can easily switch between US and EU games for example.
A quick summary of the features: - adds secondary flash to hold an "alternative kernel" that users can switch to - fits directly on the bottom side of the xbox360 mainboard - needs only one wire running on the board - easy to use "quicksolder pads" which at the same time make sure that the modchip is stuck to the mainboard and does not fall around. - has solder pads
After much prompting Wii/Gamecube games will now be accepted. In order to keep things fair they will be judged separately with their own prize pool. Because drunkencoders.com has no way to guess the number of entries to the Wii/Gamecube category they are going to go with a more dynamic prize split:
1-5 entries: winner take all
6-10 entries: 1st place 70%, 2nd place 30%
> 10 entries: 1st 50%, 2nd 30%, 3rd 20%
If we dont break $150 on the Wii/Gamecube prize pool it will be winner take all regardless of the number of entries. Good luck and 2.5+ months remain.
