I'm pretty sure subtitle support will be included. It was included with mfe. I think you just have to make sure that the subtitle file has the same name (different extention) as the video that you want it to subtitle.

Yes I plan on adding in all the subtitle features and with it having to all be built from the ground up I can work on the stability of it instead of it being a crap shoot

I am sorry I do not accept donations I have ran into one to many speedbumps and would not want to upset anyone . My deadline for myself is way over but it was due to stupid things I over looked and tried to take shortcuts on. I do this simply because I like to, I am not in it for fame or money. I have had on offer to completely buy out the project from someone who wanted to distribute it as an official application for the Wii but after much thought turned down the offer. I have no plans on dropping the project and give it about 4 hours a day. I do get frustrated at times but all in all this is something I want for my own Wii.

Now I 'm guessing with the new firmware version 3.3u and TP hack gone so is this?

nope.

Firmware 3.3 only blocks the TP-Hack. The Homebrew Channel is not affected by it. So WiiMiidia should stay loadable ;-)

Yes 3.3 Does block the TP Hack but if you do not have the HBC installed then there really is no way right now to launch Wii Miidia as Trucha has also been fixed so there is no way to install the Channel either.

Wow, your dedication for this project astounds me, even despite all the nay-sayers you're pressing on.
