Argon releases D2E Support

The Infectus Team has released their new firmware for their Argon SPI modchip for the Nintendo Wii. This firmware has been tested on the D2C2 and D2E chipsets and works great, DMS and D2C support is also included but have not been tested as much as the D2E and D2C2. This firmware only works with the Argon SPI A2P250 right now.

Just to be clear this is an open source chip and the software is flashed to the chip and updates are done by dvd?

No this is not an Open Source chip and updates have to be done with the Injectus Programmer. I hate to say it but the Inectus team has made use of their jtag port and instead of having to buy a new chip everytime a new WiiDrive comes out has released a new firmware so you can update the chips you have. This is what the D2Pro team said they were going to do but instead they decided to release a new chip for D2C2 and then again for D2E
