Default Wii DVD drive extra loud after D2Pro9 rev 3 + WiiClip V4C-3 presoldered install.

After i installed a D2Pro9 rev 3 + WiiClip in my Wii the DVD drive seems extra loud. I can hear it working from 6 feet away.

Anyone else have this problem?

Sorry for such a late reply, I have been limited to internet access.

I to have a D2Pro9-V3 installed via Wii-Clip. Mine was quiet loud after the first few minutes of install. A few of these things were my problems, but you can try these solutions and see if it helps.

1. Makes sure you are on the newest firmware. You can know by downloading "Utility Disc v1.6" from d2pro.com

2. Makes sure you disc read speed it set to 3X. Although 6X reads fine, it can be a bit louder. You can do this with your utility disc.

3. Makes sure the Wii-Clip is pressed down tight, and that you have covered it with the protective Wii-Clip card.

4. (This was my problem) Make sure that the 4 screws holding the Wii's DVD drive down are as tight as you can get them.

These are the only bits of advice I can give you.

Hope it helps.

Sounds like you're hearing vibration off of something, make sure its put back together correctly, and that maybe the paper isnt causing the vibration.

The other thing I found is some drives need to loosen the top part of it, the metal clip vibration noise can get quite loud, loosening it will make the sound go away.
