Default Wii DVD read problems

Oke, I have a D2C wii with Argon chip in it (using 1.8 firmware). I have had no issues with it. I left for the weekend and let a friend take it to his room. When i get back I now have problems. Games that I know used to work will no longer work. The will be read in the game channel but come up with a black screen "game can not be read error". This is not with all games, some will run but load very slowly. Originals will play with no issue however.

thank you in advance (sorry, about my poor English),

Maybe they updated the System to 3.3 and the discs you are trying to read are Tucha signed? can check inside for dust or dirt or something and see how it looks in there.

Maybe you need to clean and/or recalibrate your DVD drive lens.
