LittleBigPlanet confirmed for October 24 in UK; pre-launch trailer released - PS3 News, Wii News, Xbox 360 News, PSP News and more!
Alright, LittleBigSackboyFans! The year-and-a-half wait is almost over. No more delays; no more rumors. Via press release, we now have definitive word that LittleBigPlanet's release date is finally confirmed for the UK: October 24! And hey, that's just a few days before Japan gets the game on October 30.

No word yet on when North America would be able to get busy with those Kratos and Nariko Sackboys (and Sackgirls), but you can bet your "LittleBigConsoleMover" that it's bound to hit stores right about the same time that UK and Japan get it. Soon enough, we're sure to hear of the US release date too.

Anyways, to celebrate, we got a pre-launch trailer straight from Media Molecule:

I find this has a wii game look to it, maybe we might get it for the wii yeah!!!!(I highly doubt that though but keeping my fingers crossed)

Sorry to tell but this is a PS3 exclusive title and since sony is publishing LBP it looks like the game will never make its way to other platforms

theres nothing wrong with playing it on a ps3 ! also you get to create your own levels and download other user created levels something I dont think would be possible on any other console ( i do not work for sony)

Yeah there is no problem playing it on the PS3 except that I dont have one(only a wii, even my PS2 broke) and may not be able to afford one any time soon.

Start saving! Wii's a pretty good system too though

A source linked to the Sony camp was anonymous today know that Sony intends Home and LittleBigPlanet will launch simultaneously. So they want Home, which predominates hype is a bit over the top is going, as well as possible out of the starting blocks to shoot. Naturally, the two releases mutual links.
