Thanks dCiSo, The only reason I ask is because when Sven was working on the usb code he released a "USB Tester" which you could load up and test various usb devices to tell you if they were compatible or not.

But for some reason the psp is picked up on GeeXboX but I think that has something to do with the fact GeeXboX uses Linux....maybe

Anyway I know this is going to be the best Media player on the Wii and cant wait for a release.

My goal is to have it in the inital release. I was working at it before I got bricked and plan to pick right back up there once I can.


Well then from that I would have to guess it will not work with WiiMiidia either since the USB support is based off the code released by Sven

will it have an option like de mplayer port for wii that permit move de movie screen position and resize de image. This will be great, I see many videos with subtitles in the video and in many case the subtitles get in the bottom on an area where i can see in my tv and this option help me a lot.

Thanks for getting back to me dCiSo! Just one thing, will there be any screen ratio banners, you know the black things that appear at the top and bottom of the video? It would be good if there where not, but the DVD player is understandable.

The way I was setting it up would let you have a zoom feature that would alllow you to force the video into different aspect ratios. So if you have a widescreen dvd movie and a standard screen you would by default see the black area but if you zoomed it would take it away converting it to a Full Screen view. I have not tested the feature all that much as I was working on it a little before I was bricked. As soon as my Infectus Chip gets here I will be able to clean it up and test it some more.

You can unbrick your wii with an infectus? And when you zoom to go from wide to standard will that cut off the edges like it does on some video software on computer.

Yes I can unbrick my Wii using an infectus thanks to bushing and all the talks we had in the past. As for the zoom feature in Wii Miidia and it cutting off the edges it is handled as it with most computer you will lose part of the picture instead of it taking it out of the aspect ratio.
