Yeah i read about that a little while after but i was wandering if bushing gave certain developers(like dciso) beta copies so that they can start incorporating it before the public release.

Well, they released it along side of the updated MPlayer. So I'm certain they gave it out early to some people.

what does that prove? that version of MPlayer that was released was programmed by Team Twiizers themselves, not by the team that created the original MPlayer. proof of this is when you open the new Mplayer, there's a Team Twiizer's logo on the bottom left corner of the screen.

However, this does not prove that dCiSo did not get a beta version of dvdlib from Bushing ahead of time, but then again he probably couldn't do much with it since his wii was bricked at the time.

PS: Go dCiSo!!

news from viiew here

Release 2 is not that far away anymore, just some bugs to fix you'll have a release, I would appreciate if you'd register in my forums, leave feedback, talk about your work with viiew or about wii homebrew! There are some information in the blog, you can find all the news there

The URL is:
Viiew - Wii Miidia Skinning

I wish you much fun with the page and the forums!

greets, fletcher

Why do we have to register for ANOTHER forum? Viiew is a skinner for WiiMiidia, and WiiMiidia's home is right here. There's nothing to talk about there that's not going on here, you should just ask dCiSo to make a subforum for viiew on console-scene instead of a whole nother forum and registration process.

Not trying to pick on you, it just seems pointless and you'll probably get more traffic with your own viiew subforum or hell, just another topic in the wii homebrew section right here.

Not much of anything to update on yet. My infectus status is still "The package has arrived in it's destination country" So hopefully I will have it on Monday or sometime this week coming up.

For the zoom feature you should take a look at the new MPlayerWii(by ron) it has a great zoom feature that uses the nunchuck - joystick to move around, Z + joystick to stretch(zoom out, zoom in,make wide or standard with out cutting edges or you can cut edges if you want) C to reset.I also found it cool that when you stretch it backwards you can invert the image up,across or both. The best part of this zoom is it can be on one or both axes and totally as the user wants it.

Thumbs up

First off, dciso the work you've done is excellent, I've been watching this project for a bit and it's great to see that it will turn into a solid release.

Now I have a (selfish) concern about the app, I've noticed that both dmp and mplayer fail to pick up my external usb drive, are you working on improved support for usb devices, or will you reuse usb code from existing wii apps?
