My Wii is NTSC-J semi bricked with Mario Kart Wii PAL. When I use the JAP version of the disc, my Wii says it doesnt recognize the disc.

Any suggestions?

I would try different media and maybe a different burn speed. I know a few people who had same problem but once they burned it at 4X in Imgburn on different media it worked like a charm

Hi! I have a problem, i have a wii jap with chip and trying to play come game i get a semi brick. At now i downloaded this isos to solve the problem but the first time i put the dvd into wii some messages in jap appears and then make somithing like update . But i cant understand how because not is configured for inet. And other thing, the disc i burn when i put into my pc doesnt have files. is like a blank disk.

EdiT: Im trying to to open the iso with ultra iso and dindt recognize de image. Is that right?

I believe it is suppose to ask you to update off the disc that is how it fixes it you don't need internet for an update on the disc.

hi,
i semibricked my wii with a pal or jap version of mario kart.. im not sure... these seems to be the only way i can fix it right now so id like to give it a shot... just one question, what kind of disc do i burn it on? cd? dvd? thanks

DVD since the wii doesn't read cds due to its drive.

Hey guys, new member here. I got a NTSC-J Wii a little while back and just set it up now, and realized it's semi bricked. This particular fix is only for NTSC-U Wiis correct?

I know bushing released a NTSC-J version of this, which is suppose to be on here somewhere, but the links on his blog aren't working for me. Would someone point me in the right direction? Thanks in advance!
