You might be better off just buying a cheap Wireless Network Router and hooking it up with the FIOS and enabling the Wii's internal Wifi

Yeah thats what I thought sounds like the best solution to me and a wifi router is so much more useful that a wii specific lan adapter.

yea you can connect two hubs but you sure the fios didnt come with a modem and not a router.
mine is set up phone line--> ISP modem ---> Linksys wifi router ------>Computer,WII
but my neighbours have phone line--> ISP modem ---> Linksys wifi router----->Another Linksys Wifi Router ------>Computer
So it should work with two router or amodem and router

nope it's definitely a router that is wire or wireless capable
I think I'll try a different LAN adapter first, if it doesn't work then so be it, I'm not going overboard just to connect the Wii to the internet, it's not that vital

that I can connect to the FIOS router through wire or wireless, I can't even enter into the Router's settings menu, after I type in the name, I try to type in the password but every time I try to type in a character it displays 3 characters at a time, it won't delete or backspace the characters, it just displays more characters on it's own, so I can't change the wireless channel to 1 or 11, have to call them up now, very frustrating

would you know if resetting the router, will that erase everything on my network(all of the PC's and laptops)? will that also erase the SSID and Network Key? thanks

yes resseting would most likely change everything to default had to that a couple times in both modem and router had to put back in all the settings like port fowarding, passwords,SSID,Everything but usually you can backup settings( but i dont know how backing up resetting then restoring will help you change something )

well I reset the router and HBB downloaded with no problems, all of the computers on the network are working fine without having to re-enter the SSID and Network Key, so I am one happy camper now, thanks for all of the help

I guess its like Occam's Razor, the simplest solution is the best. Good to hear you got it working.
