Exclamation Homebrew Browser help needed?

I tried to download the Homebrew Browser onto the Homebrew Channel but all I am getting is the "unable to initialise to network, exiting" what is the problem? I can connect to the internet because I can access the Wii Shop Channel, so I know the Lan adapter is also not the problem, so what can it be then? thanks for any help

I have not tried to use it with the LAN adapter so not sure if that is a problem or not. Is the program in the Apps folder of the SD card and being loaded with latest version of HBC?

yes I made the "APPS" folder on my PC, then I installed the "homebrew_browser" folder in the "APPS" folder then I put the SD card in the front SD card slot of the Wii and I tried to load it up and I get that message,
for the HBC all I did was download the iso version(beta 8) and installed it on my Wii, so I think that is the latest version, correct? thanks

I am using one of those that is not an officially listed LAN adapter to use, but it's strange that I can access the Wii Shop Channel though which does require a internet connection, very odd

I think it is probaly that the Homebrew browser may not be able to use the lan adapter or your lan adapter in perticular.(The Shop channel will work with any lan adapter since it is an official Nintendo program it would have compatability with all internet solutions)

I'm thinking that since I am using FIOS for my internet service, can that be the problem? Is the Wii compatible with FIOS? thanks

where else can I purchase the Nintendo LAN adapter other than from Nintendo directly? they charge you for shipping and taxes, total ripoff in my opinion

I guess Bestbuy, Circuit city or Gamestop. Im not sure really just guessing but a wifi router would be my solution and you can pretty much get that anywhere. If you get one just remeber to put it on channel 1 or 11.
